Who am I?

Who am I? The short version…

My name is Ashley Alston. I am originally from New Orleans, La. I attended the University of New Orleans receiving a BA in Elementary Education. I taught elementary school and left the profession. After starting my own foundation, Ashley Walker’s Mission of Love, I went back to school for a Master’s in Community Counseling at the University of Houston-Victoria. Assisting others in their daily struggles has always been a passion of mine. I then attended  Institute of Integrative Nutrition where I received my certification for Integrative Nutrition health coaching and shortly after my personal training certification.

Now for the longer version…

How and why did I start this journey? Well let me see where to start… I pride myself on being transparent with the belief that everyone has a testimony which creates the story for our lives, shapes us into the person we become and our desires and passions in life.

Life started out going one way and then the pot holes, sharp turns, debris in the road and everything else possible that could happen, happened. My faith was tested on numerous occasions. I’m sure there are times I failed the test, however when you have know other choice but to surrender to Him and walk in faith thats what you do daily. Your faith and spirituality grows more and more and your fears begin to be minute compared to your faith.
